Our Story

“From humble beginnings, Focus Rooms has always been about more than just a space to host an event, conference, or meeting – it’s been about creating experiences that inspire and transform.”

In 2008,

we opened our doors with just eight rooms, a modest start that laid a solid foundation for the phenomenal events and functions we host today.

In 2011,

we dug deep and found our inner child, inviting it to play. We realised that fun in the workplace significantly improves material retention, leading to the birth of our quirky personality. This playfulness infused our environment with entertainment and inspiration, making learning a joyful experience.

In 2020,

we moved to our new home, offering 3,150 square meters of event space. Centrally located in Johannesburg, we are easily accessible event venues from all directions, setting a new benchmark in the event world.

Today,

with over 15 years of experience behind us, we’ve earned a reputation for running smooth and successful events, consistently exceeding expectations and igniting imagination.
